Rising Sun Apollo Teacup And Saucer – By Melody Rose

In celebration of the work of 18th Century rococo painter François Boucher (1703 – 1770) Melody Rose designer, Melanie Roseveare has based the collection on a selection of the paintings on show in the prestigious gallery.

A fine bone china teacup and saucer designed in an exclusive collaboration with The Wallace Collection, The new Francois Boucher range.

Inspired by Francois Boucher’s ‘The Rising of the Sun’ the teacup and saucer feature Apollo, Thetis and the Nymph and is finished with elegant hand painted platinum details.

Working with a third-generation pottery based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, the oldest of the famous ceramics towns, Melody Rose tableware is made by combining the latest technologies with traditional craft techniques and highly skilled artistry, with much of the process including decorating and gilding done by hand.
